Who operates this site
This site is operated for the P3DF initiative by the Council for Independent Frontier Research (CIFR), a non-profit organisation. Visit cifr.org for organisation information and its published contact channels.
What happens when you join a list
With your consent, we store your email address, chosen interest, the page where you signed up, the time of signup and a record of your consent. We use this information for P3DF release, research, community or partnership updates relevant to your selection.
Subscriptions are stored in a private Vercel Blob store. Your email is not placed in public files, sent to Google Analytics, or printed by the application in logs. The signup service uses temporary keyed identifiers derived from request network information to limit automated abuse.
We keep signup information while you remain subscribed or until it is no longer needed for these updates. Unsubscribe links in future updates will remove your active signup records and retain only a keyed suppression identifier to prevent further mail. You can also use CIFR’s published contact channels for privacy requests.
There is no automated newsletter delivery service connected at launch. Your registration records your interest; it does not trigger an immediate marketing email. Sending updates and importing subscribers into a mailing service are separate operator actions.
Optional website analytics
The site includes a Google Analytics 4 integration that activates only when a valid measurement ID is configured and you choose “Allow analytics.” Declining keeps the Google tag unloaded on a fresh visit. You can change your choice using “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
With consent, analytics measures visits and interactions such as changing twin layers, opening a waitlist and completing a signup. The application sends fixed interest labels and interaction names, not your email or form text. Page location reporting excludes query strings. Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google signals are disabled in the integration.
Your analytics preference is saved in this browser’s local storage. Hosting infrastructure may process request information needed to serve and secure the site regardless of optional analytics.
The Creator preview does not access your home
The browser preview uses AI-generated images and synthetic sample data. It does not request your camera, microphone or location, connect to devices, upload a home model, or run a robot. The illustrative JSON download is generated in your browser.
Future cloud services and camera integrations will need their own published terms, permission controls and data-handling information before use.
